This is a 5 star visitor attraction and retail complex. Loch Ness is already the most famous lake in the world but our aim is to make it better understood. This is achieved through a fully audio visually guided 35 minute tour. The presentation is theatrical in style and integrates the real tools and archive footage from four decades of research. As part of our educational remit, under 6s go free. The facts are objectively explained and whilst keeping the mystery centre stage, we place it in the context of the loch's very unusual properties. Thus we are endorsed by Scottish Natural Heritage as "A portal to the unique natural phenomenon that is Loch Ness". We offer a huge range of retail onsite and boat cruises on Loch Ness in the summer months. There is also a large cafe and restaurant attached to the site.

Spent an hour here with 3 small kids before a Loch Ness cruise. Very enjoyable exhibit, multimedia format was fun for all. Definitely worth a visit.

Basically a series of rooms showing short films. Quite boring and not very interactive especially for small children. Could have been so much more. Not really informative, cheesy or child friendly. It’s a real nothing. Sadly a wasted opportunity. Spend your money on something else.

The exhibition takes you through a series of films in various locations in the building. They take you through the legend, supposed sightings and the science behind the Loch, the supposed creature and the means undertaken to try and locate it. Without wanting to spoil...More

There a couple of nice gift shops with a wide variety of items as well as the exhibition centre. However, we had our dogs with us so we had to take it in turns to go in the gift shops but didn’t see the point...More

We enjoyed the exhibition it is a little dated and could be so much more interesting it could benefit from some human insight or someone available to answer questions. Other wise a great attraction.

“That’s it?!” Is what you’ll probably say when you get to the end of this tourist rip off. I usually like tacky, but fun, tourist sites, but this is a big rip-off. If it was much less expensive, maybe I wouldn’t feel so strongly. 90%...More

Travelled around Scotland for 1,5 week and this is the very first time I felt that we were in a tourist trap. Absolutely not worth the money, boring exhibitions and way to expensive.. we were actually quite disappointed after the visit.

The exhibition centre was really good. Interesting information about the mystery of the Loch Ness Monster and the Loch itself. Is it a hoax or is it real...find out at this venue. So good.

A very enjoyable and easily digestable exhibition. 6 small shows giving you a good insight into the history and nature of Loch Ness. No longer any serious attempt to keep the myth alive, but instead a good account of the Nessie stories and why there...More
