Lovely hike. Absolutely lovely. Easy to follow trail and a great hike before visiting the Urquardt Castle.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this scenic hike but be warned to check weather before climbing. There weren’t many other walkers attempting the climb and the path is less clear towards the summit as trekkers avoid boggy fields. Although classified as a “walk” hiking...More

My husband and I did this walk on a cloudy, but dry day. The ascent is pretty easy, though this might be a bit more challenging if it has been or is rainy. As it had been very dry for obviously some time, this wasn't...More

If you want to beak your leg then by all means try waking this footpath. It's upper levels are not maintained and it shouldn't be marketed as a family walk. Some of it is just plain dangerous.
