4 of us really enjoyed our visit...despite some of us not being Whisky drinkers. Californian tour guide was good and able to answer most of our questions while going round and had good knowledge while doing the tasting at the end. One thing to note is that are just starting a 2 year refurbishment (around 6 weeks to 2 months... More

We visited on a most perfect day, the sun creating sparkles on Tobermory bay. The tour began at midday and we were met by our guide Catherine. It started with a description of the raw materials involved in malt whisky distillation and a comprehensive tour around this beautiful little distillery was to follow. Catherine was a great host, enthusiastic and... More

I really enjoyed my visit and learning about and seeing how Whiskey is made. The distillery is small and historic and the tour guide was excellent. She knew what she was talking about and enjoyed interacting with our small group.

My wife Linda, myself and our friends John and Helen went to Mull on Friday 28th April 2017, for an overnight birthday treat. Part of the occasion on getting there was a tour of Tobermory Distillery followed by a whysky tasting session. Firstly I must say our tour guide Alison was excellent and provided us with many details of the... More

We squeezed this in at the end of our day in Tobemory and were not disappointed. I think the price is a little on the steep side for a 1 hour tour but you are really paying for the whisky tasting at the end (£8 for a 1 dram tour, £10 for a 2 dram tour when we visited). The... More

The tour guide was friendly, entertaining and knowledgable. Our tour was during a production close down - this had advantages and disadvantages: on the upside we could look at parts of the distillery that wouldn't have been possible in a working distillery but on the downside we could not see the production in action. There is limited storage and no... More

The distillery tour was one of the few things open in Tobermory on a wet Sunday in April - fortunately it was something we wanted to do anyway! We were booked on to the 4pm tour and were directed through to a small side area with seating. Our tour didn't take long to start - the gentleman doing the tour... More
