We last visited a couple of years ago, but in 2016, Inverewe House opened to the public. It's a great addition to the already interesting gardens. You can walk around and interact with the displays and it has a contemporary feel about it, even though...More

Well presented gardens with woodland trails and stupendous views. The house is now open with excellent interpretation and gives a good insight into the story behind the house and gardens. A lovely place to visit.

Inverewe is a national trust of Scotland property and therefore free to members. Entrance is otherwise Adult £10.50 (seniors £7.50) plus £1 for parking. The gardens are magnificent and sprawl on their prime position overlooking Lock Ewe. The map supplied is excellent but we loved...More

We haven't been to Inverewe Gardens for 30 years and where delighted to find not the same wonderful views and grounds. The staff where very helpful and we where able to use one of their wheelchairs (free of charge) which was an enormous benefit.

It is hard to believe that at one time, this area was just a bare rocky hillside with two willows on it. The family transformed this area into a collection of several gardens with subtropical plants that are supported by the warmth of the Gulf...More

This location and backdrop provide amazing views and the gardens are magnificent. The work and dedication that has gone into this place over the years really shows. You can look at African plants, then Himalayan, then be studying ponds,it's just fascinating. There's something different around every...More

Called here while we were doing a days tour in a hire car from Invergorden. We must have found the only sun in Scotland. Beautiful gardens and stunning views. It was so sheltered and had its own little micro climate. Really worth a visit.
