Friendly staff but really cold.

Really friendly stuff but the excursion is really cold so be sure to take warm socks and jacket. Need to call and book before you come.

Excellent local distillery. Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit and the many thereafter while showing family and friends the local sites.

This was our first distillery visit and we had a lovely time. We had 2 samples to try at the end, with bottles for the driver to sample at home. Our tour guide and all the people in the shop were lovely. A great way to spend the afternoon!

We went there one December Saturday to buy a bottle of hand filled whisky. The two staff were very helpful and friendly - Fiona M and Emily - and went that extra mile to make it an interesting and enjoyable experience. It was great fun trying to fill a bottle by hand direct from the cask without spilling most of... More

We toured Glen Garioch as part of a small tour company, and totally enjoyed it. Our guide was warm and friendly and, while her lovely Scottish brogue kept me from understanding everything, I got the gist of their traditions and process in making this wonderful scotch whisky. Love the fact that it was in the middle of a small town... More

My first distillery tour and fascinating to see similarities to beer brewing initial processes Our tour guide Richard was excellent and provided a simple explanation of the whole process interspersed with a humorous delivery Well done and the whisky is delicious

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and we had the best time. The basic tour is £7.50 each and its worth every penny. Our guide was so knowledgable and answered our questions without any hesitation. The tour lasts an hour with a small tasting session at the end. Scotland operates a zero tolerance to drink driving and as... More

Ive always been into whisky but never been to a distillery. Glen Garioch doesnt disappoint. We did the "wee tasting tour" which at £15 a head was really good value for money. Its a small distillery so everything has a more relatable feel to it and makes it more appealing. We were very lucky to be taken round during a... More

I have always loved Glen Garioch, and the VIP tour I took at the distillery was outstanding. We got to see the malting floors, to get up close to the gorgeous stills and equipment. The shop is fun, with a lot of merchandise, and the two BYO casks are stupendous! Must visit!
