Nor only architecturally splendid but friendly staff who allowed me to steep my arthritic hands in the plentiful hot water.

Although the male toilets where victoriana looking, the female toilets should not be a charge for as there simply the same as any other bog standard public toilet. Rip off fire the female side. Don't even deserve the one star

You can not go to Rothesay with out going to see the gents toilets at the Pier. Please remember to knock before going in if you are a lady! I have never been in a gents toilet before but these are fantastic.

Definitely worth a visit to spend a penny or in this case 40p! The old toilets are well kept and have lovely tile work. They are situated by the pier and near to where the ferry docks.

An absolutely superb display of Victorian municipal plumbing. Whether or not you are a plumbing affectionado or just a wide eyed tourist like me, you should find the spectacle of this "convenience" simply superb.
