this is the left over marble from mount stuart. This seems massive for today but in1900 there were three steamboats an hour arriving.

It only takes a few minutes to look around but what a neat experience! I (female) got to go in the gents’ and take pics once the attendant made sure no one was in there. Worth every pence!

Toilets are immaculate the lady at thekiosk was very nice and chatty Cost 40pence to use well worth it.

The photos would made this unmissable but don't bother. It shows how a good photo can be deceiving and thankfully the photos don't have smelly vision but a visit does. Stinks of wee.

Well worth a visit, 40p admission. Amazing these have been kept in such good repair. Our friends live in the potteries and have relatives who in the past have made this type of porcelain.

Dropped in to visit the Victorian toilets whilst awaiting the arrival of the island ferry. 40p admission was ok, facilities were clean and very different to your usual public convenience.

Well worth a visit whether you need to go or not lovely lady in charge how times have changed it also fills a bit of time in as there is not much to do in Rothesay

I have been goin to rothesay for years and My family had bought a holiday flat there though we had to use the Victorian toilets when we first bought house, it had amazing shower facilities always very warm and very clean, the decor is beautiful...More
