Having recently watched Local Hero we decided on an 8 hour round trip to finally see "Ben's Beach". The views were spoiled by the rain, however the beach itself was nothing special. Elie is much better.

Sand dunes, white sand, clear sea, rock pools, safe bays, dog-friendly. Simply beautiful and somewhere we come back to as often as possible.

We loved our trip to that beach, it was amazing. white sand, clear water, nice view and only a few other people. perfect for a day to relax, have a picnic - even go swimming, if you don't mind a cold refreshment! ;) a must-see...More

There is a very good car park with toilets a few minutes walk away from the beach. The scenery is stunning.

Stopping in the cottage overlooking the beach this week. Shouldn't really be recommending it as everyone will want to..! Miles of golden beaches to discover and very peaceful. Beautiful place 👍🏻

Just returned from two nights here, a lovely campsite with fantastic views, clean and modern facilities with warm showers and wonderful owners. The beach was just as I remembered it and so peaceful and we had a robin who sat on my chair each morning...More

Stayed in the pod very comfortable and cosy despite the cold nights. Weather and scenery gorgeous fabulous views of sunset and island off the white sandy beach clear sea.

Yes. Just google Camusdarach self-catering and you should get a number of options. Also try Morar and Arisaig

It's amazing. lovely place to stay. It's very close to Maliag and Arisaig if you like boat trips etc. we camped and found it lovely.id recommend it. the beach is to die for
