This was our second visit to the Memphis Zoo. Even on a rainy day, it was wonderful. We enjoyed everything we saw and also enjoyed seeing all the children reacting to what they were seeing. Wonderful day!

The animal enclosures were good and close for the viewing of the animals. The zoo was clean and walkable. It was easy to navigate. Pandas and a baby hippo seemed to be the highlight of the animals. We enjoyed many others as well. The zoo personnel were friendly and helpful. Totally worth the time and effort. Get out there and... More

Being a native Memphian, I grew up going to the Memphis Zoo - seeing the animals, riding the rides. In fact, one time they brought the original Batmobile when I was a kid - it was so cool! My wife and I recently went to the Zoo and had a delightful afternoon. Growing up, the hippos, elephants, bears and many... More

Went here with my family. It's a good sized zoo and you will definitely have a lot of things to do. I will say you need a whole day to visit so that you are not in a rush to go around and have time for breaks because it is going to be exhausting to walk around the entire zoo.... More

I have been here so many times I can't count! I grew up in Memphis and never realized how blessed we were to have such a great zoo! I've been to many others and only a few compare to this one.

Memphis has one of the top rated zoos in the country! Watch the polar bears swim, a sea lion show, pandas from chine, feed the giraffes, eat lunch with the monkeys in the cat house cafe, and a new baby hippo in the new Zambezi river hippo camp addition. You can't go wrong with a trip to the Memphis Zoo!

We came 5 years ago and wanted to come back and bring our little one. We had a wonderful time. Spent the better part of our day here, 9-1. Then headed to the a/c at the children's museum for the remainder of the afternoon. We also enjoyed the temporary Lego exhibits throughout the zoo.

The zoo is only one of four zoos in the United States that has Pandas. This was the highlight of my visit there. All exhibits were very well done. They made each exhibit particular to the region of the world the animal came from. This enhanced the experience. The cafes were well placed throughout the zoo and the choices were varied. The zoo was... More

My wife has been trying to get me to go to the zoo for some time. This is a very nice had some animals she hadn't seen before. Had mandrills, a baby hippo a baby giraffe and all the regular things you expect to see. It was a very nice day in April 2017.
