The memphis zoo is a pretty good zoo. It's clean, and has a lot of animals. Not the best but definitely worth a day trip.

In December, we carried our church youth group to see Zoo Lights at the Memphis Zoo. It is a great event for a group. The Zoo is lit up at night with thousands of lights.

You get so close to the animals! All other zoos are so far away from the animals. The lions and tigers center is perfect! You are right on top of them! and you are safe! See the bears in the new environment, see the Hippos...More

There’s a bus/ Trolley but you have to pay to ride. I don’t remember how much because we just walked.

It is pricey, but there is a great parkjust outside the zoo where you could picnic if you wanted to consider that option. If eating inside the zoo, the restaurant right inside the gate would be the one I would recommend... More
