Seats are a little narrow. That is the only issue as it is an older Theatre. Great venue, great sound and stage. Outstanding service by those who work there. Top notch entertainment. We will go often.

We've been to see War Horse a few years ago and back this time to see Sound of Music. The play was a bit mixed up from the movie with the music pieces being played at the wrong times, but that's nothing on the Orpheum...More

We went to see An American in Paris. The show was wonderful, the acoustics were great. My husband has hearing loss and we are able to take advantage of the headsets offered at no cost so he can hear everything said. We love this place....More

Lifetime Memphian here. I’ve been to many, many performances here and across the country. The opulence of this theatre far surpasses many of the grandest show houses in other cities. Years ago they spent the money to enlarge the stage in order to bring larger...More

Beautiful old theater converted to restaurant. Delicious brunch; wonderful brunch specialty cocktails! Fun old movies running on giant screen in front of theater.

Gorgeous restored theater from the early 20th century, this venue features Broadway hits, dance, music, and occasional classic films. Box seats are highly recommended. Parking is available adjacent to the theater, but you need patience to brave the long lines for the restrooms and to...More

The Orpheum is a great theatre. A few years ago, they used to have opera performances here, now it is more other "stuff". But hey, take the chance and go here, you will not regret it. It is an old theatre with everything you will...More

The inside is grand and beautifully maintained. We were in the balcony for the King & I, and the view was great. Obviously there are better seats, just not in our budget. I would imagine there are probably no bad seats. We sat in the...More

Numerous parking lot within 100 yards of O.T. Depending on the event. I paid 20 for The King and I. Beale Street is adjunct to OT. Several bars/restaurants in Beale. Decide ahead of time where to eat. Some restaurants are rough looking. And run down...More

The comfort Inn is not that close but the Peabody is and the Sheraton but the seats are not real spacious and they are flat but you will be able to see if there is not a tall person in front of you
