It's just ducky!

A visit to the Peabody is a step back in time; a time when the world was a kinder, gentler place. You will enjoy stopping here for an hour or so.

Memphis is a great place to visit, both for its Civil Rights history and its cuisine. This hotel includes some traditional features that make it different, and interesting, compared to many chain hotels. Try it. Make sure you watch the quirky duck parade too.

I have not only stayed here, FABULOUS rooms!, but I've also come to visit and dine here as well. My favorite things to do are to see the ducks and have afternoon tea! Great time with the ladies!

You have to walk the hotel just for the nostalgia. The duck walk is a must see! Be sure and get their early as it really gets packed. The shop is one that Elvis actually visited.

We didn't stay at The Peabody so this review is based on a tiny bit of its history which intrigued us. We had heard the story of the Peabody ducks coming down the lift and red carpet twice a day and living in their own penthouse so we just had to see it for ourselves during our tour of the... More

What a beautiful hotel. They even have some Elvis history on the second floor. You must see the ducks that entertain in the fountain. The piano shown here belonged to Francis Scott Key! Auesome hotel and a must see. Lanskys is located in the hotel lobby area.

The Peabody Hotel came highly recommended, so I had to see for myself. The hotel is beautiful, friendly staff and amazing history. The best part was watching the ducks walk down the red carpet to the fountain...the best!

My 8 year old said: this is stupid. The duck master with the fancy red jacket was kind of snobby to people who were shuffling in the lobby while he made his big speech. Not worth it to go early and try to get a view of the "parade." I get that it's local history. If we weren't staying at... More
