My husband and I felt privileged to schedule a tour of the hospital and pavilion and to walk around the memorial garden. Danny Thomas and his wife created an unbelievable legacy that has resulted in curing thousands of children from cancer and other illnesses. What an amazing place. Anyone in or near the Memphis, TN area should put this on... More

As a young boy I watched " Make Room for Daddy " t.v. show in the late 1950's.By coincidence, I lived 20 minutes from his home town of Deerfield, Mi. from 2002 to 2014. As a K of C Fourth Degree Knight; I am very proud of Mr. Thomas' deep faith in Our Lord Jesus as taught by our Catholic... More

I could not stop crying. As a mother of a childhood leukemia survivor, I was over flowing w gratitude. I had NO idea of the impact of Danny Thomas' efforts. Please support St Jude's so other parents can enjoy and continue to love their children.

We went to the gift shop first because we weren't quite sure what building to enter. The gentleman there gave us quite a bit of information about the place. The meditation garden is right next to the freeway, which probably wasn't there when the garden was built. The museum is in a very large opulent empty room with displays on... More

We've all heard of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital but if you visit this site, you will get the whole story. Those of us of a certain age remember Danny Thomas as an entertainer but he was so much more than that. What has been accomplished here is nothing short of miraculous. There is a great deal of information in... More

What an inspiring story. He said that once the hospital was finally built and operating, he could die in peace because he had fulfilled his life's purpose. A great man! So glad I visited the Danny Thomas pavillion and learned how he started it and visited his grave there. Very powerful.

Always knew the GREAT work the Thomas family has done for St Jude's; also we make regular donations to this worthy cause. I'm so glad we made this stop as part of our tour to Memphis, this is an awesome memorial to a wonderful family who did so much for children; one can only be inspired by the good works.... More

At the top of our list during our trip. My daughter raised money for a donation for St Jude. She's not old enough to tour the hospital but the Danny Thomas Pavilion was a great way to make a connection to her donation. The lady at the gift shop was so sweet and took the time to tell my daughter... More

This free ALSAC Pavilion (AMERIAN LEBANESE SYRIAN ASSOICATED CHARITIES) was an awesome place to visit. I loved the memorabilia on the walls. So much history of his life. I grew up with his TV show and movies and of course his work with St. Jude's Children's Hospital. This is such a great tribute to Danny Thomas who came from nothing... More

I was very happy that I included this stop as part of my Memphis tour. Inspirational says it all. Having lived in Tennessee most of my life, of course I had heard of the Danny Thomas legacy. Witnessing the legacy and great contributions in person really made me understand the real meaning of philanthropy. Also it is beautiful with much... More
