own parking right outside, plus other convenient local parking not far away. Modern entrance and shop with very friendly staff, and a nice assortment of things to buy. Cost to get in was £6 each. Then, a small cinema with an introductory film, which sets the scene, and the atmosphere. Then, across the bridge and in to the castle itself.... More

Had a lovely visit with family and adult children. We have been visiting Harlech for years and it was nice to show the castle to some who had not been there before. It was a sunny day and we took lots of pictures with fantastic views. Very good value for money including student discount. All round good day out with... More

What a great visit...the kids loved climbing the spiral stairs. Great views from the top. Well stocked if expensive shop but plenty of smaller bits for the kids to get something.

When you think of a traditional castle...Harlech is just that. Jutting out on the cliff you can see why it ws buolt there. Good value for money, amazing views and fab for exploring. You can walk around the top of the castle walls which is great fun. Very informative and would highly recommend a walk on the beautiful beach

Plenty to explore and some fantastic views from the towers. Some of the walls are quite low so it would need strict supervision if you had small children with you! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

The castle is great, it has lots of places to explore as there's hidden corridors within the walls. Plenty of stairs to climb up onto the walls giving amazing views of the coastline once at the top. There is a great cafe onsite too serving amazing big pieces of cake!

The cafe at the castle was outstanding, with excellent locally roasted coffee and good light bites. Didn't eat a cake, unfortunately but they looked... More
