This is a perfect spot for a small wedding. The tranquility of the setting and history provide a meaningful backdrop for a memorable wedding service. We were fortunate to observe a marriage here and it was truly amazing.

We were advised that this would make an interesting visit, and so it proved. As the tide was out we got quite a seaweed smell which made it feel very much the seaside. The church is tiny, and we met a lady who was due to attend a wedding the at the weekend, could be standing room for many! The... More

We stumbled across this lovely church following a walk under the suspension bridge.Picturesque with lovely views, and one of the "friends of the church" gave us an really interesting insight into it's background.

My fiance and I spent a quiet Sunday morning on church island. We parked at the car park near the wait rose and followed the signs to the causeway that leads to the island. There's a small church and plenty of quiet. We saw very few people, lots of history and lots of wild rabbits. There are some great views... More

There is a lovely walk around the site with wonderful views of both the Brittania bridge and the Suspension bridge. Free to enter, but very small. leaflets with info plus a wall map of the area. peaceful and charming. There is parking quite close... More

We parked at Waitrose car park and walked with our dogs through the woods to Church Island along the causeway. The island is a peaceful place with lots of Welsh language graves and the prettiest little church . We had sandwiches on a bench with wonderful views. A nice way to spend a couple of hours!

We parked up at the small pay and display just passed Waitrose and followed the signs down to Church Island and round to the Menai Bridge. It is so peaceful in the churchyard and the simple church on the island. The walk round the Belgium Promenade gives you some fantastic views of both the Britannia and Menai bridges and you... More

we were on a small North Wales tour and wanted to include a short hop over to Angelsea and we read about this little old church, it is in a great position and easy to get to. It has existed since 680AD which is brilliant and a lovely place for a picnic lunch (compliments of the local Waitrose very nearby)
