Llandudno island is a very romantic island accessed off the beach when the tide is out. You will find a museum in the old lighthouse keepers' cottages both of the story of dwynwen (santes dwynwen day on the 25th. January is the Welsh lovers day and the equivalent of valentine's day) and of the keepers.

There is no better place to wander and take in the breathtaking surroundings. Park down by the beach and follow one of the many well marked trails or wander along the waters edge. Toilets facilities and ice cream van are handy too. The walk out to Landdwyn is well worth the effort

Really enjoyed our walk; dunes, woodland, sandy beaches and great views. If you're visiting Anglesey then this is a must see and do.

This is one of my favourite places on earth. Just beautiful! Had a fantastic walk along the beach with the kids and then back through the forest. A must visit if you're in Anglesey. The £4 parking (annual pass £20), is well worth it and there are good toilet facilities available at the car park. Lots of provision for BBQ's... More

Amazing beach with stunning views of Snowdonia! Easy to get to & £4 for parking is well worth it. Must bring own pack lunch as area is unspoilt with no shops or cafes.

Opened the curtains to a dry, bright day so headed for Llanddwyn to find the beach quiet, the sea smooth, the sky bright blue and stunning view across to Snowdonia. A brisk walk to blow away the cobwebs before lunch at Marram Grass. It just doesn't get any better.
