Didn't know about this until we followed the signs in Ruthin. Surprisingly run by the local council and set up with very good displays. Disabled access catered for.

Great experience and a real insight into the history of Ruthin and some of the characters that have stayed in the Prison. The place wasn't expensive and it was a nice and relaxing couple of hours spent in the gaol.
