Lovely home cooked food, great service when it's busy you have to queue but it's worth it. The castle grounds are very pretty and you can have a nice walk before a spot of lunch.

A great place to spend all day! Large gardens and a children's play area, maze, jungle adventure boardwalk. The courtyard restaurant is amazing and worth the visit alone. We also went to the Secret Owl Garden and took part in an Owl flying experience.

We just went to the gardens which were excellent. They are extensive and well kept. They clearly also make an effort to interest kids with the owl attraction, boardwalks etc. Free for RHS members.

Really enjoyable visit. Only had a few hours and wish we could have stayed longer. Was worth paying extra for the owls and the food in the cafe was of an extremely high standard. Will definitely return

The grounds surrounding Picton Caslte are beautiful and we found so much color and variety to astound us. We took many more picture of the grounds than castle due in part to the scaffolding on the parts being restored.More

We visited the castle today and absolutely enjoyed the guided tour. You need to pay anadditional fee for this tour, but it is worth doing.
