We took a boat trip mid week on the thousand island tour. It was incredibly informative, not only about the wildlife and caves but also about the geology of Ramsey island. We saw plenty of wildlife - mainly seals and their pups and also some cormorants, this time of year is great to see the seals. At £25 per person... More

I did the 10:00 boat launch to the island and 12:30 boat around. This schedule allowed me to walk the southern route on the island with time to stop and take pictures. The heather was blooming and the rocky coastline was beautiful. I spotted several seals from up above. Then it was back to the boat for a ride around... More

We went with flotilla boat trips and were well looked after. There is a lot of climbing of stairs up and down to get onto the boats and there is very little parking nearby. You can get a shuttle bus from the visitor centre in st davids to connect with the boat. It is quite a choppy ride but we... More

Their boat was suitable for young children and was only an hour long so we chose this boat ride, although the speed boats looked fun! Trip around the island was beautiful and we also managed to see some seals

We wanted to see the seal pups on the secluded beaches of Ramsey Island, September is a great time to see the new born pups, and sea birds. The crew at thousand islands have always looked after us extremely well, we launched from RNLI St Davids Lifeboat Station at St Justinians, the steps up and down are extremely hard work!... More

My husband and I booked a trip around Ramsey on a Sunny Bank Hol Monday. We are not the best sailors so were glad it was a sunny warm calm day. Parking was a bit of an issue but we found a car park a little way back down the road at St. Justians. Make sure u use the portable... More

Great adventure around Ramsey island aboard a jet boat. The crew shared their in depth knowledge of the wildlife , Ramsey island & history of Pembrokeshire. We saw plenty of wildlife while navigating around the island. Would highly recommend this trip.

We took the Ramsey Island around and land trip. The boat trip was excellent, with a very capable crew on board and some excellent facts about the waters and the wildlife that inhabits it. We then landed on Ramsey and got to look down at where we'd been on the boat. I think that Thousand Islands is the only company... More

Dear PMJ66 Thanks for your review, we are so pleased to hear you enjoyed your visit. Just to confirm for other readers; you are correct in saying that Thousand Islands Expeditions have sole landing rights to Ramsey Island. Very comfortable and thrilling ride on a jet boat. Our driver was highly skilled at navigating the tight caves and guide was really informative, explaining what was happening with the wildlife surrounding the island, and the unusual tide patters in the Ramsay Sound. Lots of Seals to see lounging around on the rocks and in the water. We will go... More
