The North Head Sanctuary offers such beautiful views that looks out over the Pacific Ocean, Sydney Harbor, and cliffs. To do the entire walk at a nice steady, leisurely pace, allow yourself at least 3 hours. Look out for many native lizards in the area,...More

A really beautiful spot and totally worth the up hill walk from Manly. From the top you can see the city line across Sydney Harbour and all the surrounding suburbs.

Had friends from overseas visiting. Hiking around North Head is easy and light going. It can get busy on a nice day though. We paid to do the tunnel tour but regretted it. You pay $10 per head for some rude volunteer guide who was...More

A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take
you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches
here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the
day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is
a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the
Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are
plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent
cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants

Hi Chanelle No the walk at North Head Sanctuary is free. Make sure you call into the visitor centre at Manly to collect a map and at the visitor centre at North Fort to learn about the history of the site. Enjoy your visit!
