Day off

Nice place to go to kill a few hours on my day off (in Manly for business). Mick at the penguin feeding was very informative.

I brought my two sons and we had a blast. Lots of well-presented small creatures, like a frisky octopus, puffers, unicorn fish, etc. We saw the penguin feeding upstairs, too. We spent a happy hour or more here, then walked to the beach in about 10 minutes. Lots of fun!

This small Sea Life Attraction 5 minutes walk from Manly Wharf is a great visit for all the family. Informative keepers guide you through the experience. The highlights are the twice daily Fairy Penguin feeds which take place on the top level of the venue.

This aquarium is very small, but it packs a punch. Great Manly destination activity. We attended both the Shark and Turtle feeding and the Penguin feeding. Both were informative and entertaining. The staff does an excellent job of educating the public about the habits of these animals. Small mini aquariums house fish, jelly fish, sea horses and Squid. Touch tank... More

It has only 3 circular and rather small floors. The best thing is the staging of the Great Coral Reef in the center of the middle floor. At the top there are some pinguins. The ticket seller told me that it was going to take me about 45 minutes but in 15 I finished. I'm a aquarium lover and I... More

I did the shark dive on Friday 3rd march, and I couldn't imagine a better way to end my Aussie adventure ! You probably couldn't find someone who knows more or is more passionate about the safety and survival of these beautiful creatures than our instructors Evo and Brett. The fact that they love these animals so much made the... More

Always good for a couple of hours even though we have been to many Sealife Sanctuarys. The difference with Manly Sealife is that the gave Little Penguins, a small breed of penguin, they were playful, funny, and feeding time is a must.

Thanks to sea life sanctuary I was able to dive with some of the worlds most amazing sea life! Swimming with the sharks, turtles and rays was the most awe inspiring experience! Truly amazing! I will definitely be doing this again! No dove experience necessary, the diving instructors were such lovely people- Alex and Michelle made my dreams come true!... More

I visited the sealife santutary on a sunny afternoon. It is 40 minute ferry ride from circular quay. The santutary has a shark dive center attached to it with special packages, but in my opinion it dosent make sense. I had also visited the sealife santutary at darling harbour and I must say the sealife at Manly specially the sharks and sting... More

Children enjoyed seeing sea creatures close up and penguins were delightful. Plenty to look at and close to Manly pier.

Staying in Manly

Neighbourhood Profile
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
