Superb granite courthouse with lots of charachter. The building is in wonderful condition with many artifacts on display. I highly recommend the tour with many stories of bushrangers, gold mining and sightseeing.

This place is well worth a visit if you need to soak up the History of the area and Australia. The displays are well placed with easy access. I enjoyed the accompanying historical notes. The guides were polite and knowledgable.

Michael, what a gem. His passion and enthusiasm definately made this visit. We went to the courthouse, Ned Kelly vault and museum. The ticket for the whole family for entry into all 3 at $30 was definately value for money. The Ned Kelly vault and courtroom were our favourites and it was good that you could go round at your... We actually wandered in here by chance and were instantly greeted by a bushy bearded, cheerful man. The Courthouse was by far the favourite part of our trip. The amount of information available in each room was fantastic. I think what made this so memorable was the cleverly interwoven historical information and personal stories of people. The story of the... More

For us visiting the Courthouse (From the outside looking through the windows) was an important part of the Ned Kelly Trail, and therefore we found it excellent. It is also great to see towns that restore and maintain their historic building no matter what their historical significance. Another building of probably more importance for Ned Kelly followers is the twin... More

Shows in detail the history of the area and of course Ned Kelly and his gang. It shows all the court rooms- and also gives explanation of the times.I was impressed with this.

Visited here recently with overseas visitors who were most interested in the experience as we were. Staff member on duty was brilliant, looked like Ned Kelly. Very authentic and well worth visiting.

Very good history on Ned Kelly and very interesting look at the court house with interactive history lesson. Great court library with all the original books and resources to look at. Harsh times in those days sentenced to hard labor for very minor offences . Worth a visit , activities for kids so they enjoy the trip as well.
