Beautiful Beechworth
Nov 2021
Gorgeous view of Woolshed Falls, a must see for locals and tourists. It was a bright and sunny day so the weather really made it even more spectacular.

Great spot
Nov 2021
What a surprising and lovely spot. Short drive out from the town centre and really easy to find. Well worth a visit. Wished we had bought a picnic and we would have stayed all day.

10 minute drive from Beechworth
Oct 2021
A must see place, only a 10 minute drive out of Beechworth. Just a 3km drive off the main road. Lovely quiet area, great for a picnic/lunch.

Clean, serene and a beautiful piece of nature on show
Sep 2021
What a beautiful part of the world, protected from the wind, spectacular rock formations and beautiful to see the water running at its natural best.
The area would be stunning to have a picnic in and plenty of options (tables/fire pits etc) to set up as well. Tracks are well worn and easy to walk on, signage is clear and viewing platforms are well placed.
I didn't realise that dogs weren't allowed which is a shame but best to know before you go.
It was so quiet and serene and such a beautiful outlook and being so close to the town it is a must visit place.
Better still was the Woolshed Cabins I stayed in were just 1.5 kms down the road and these were fabulous and within walking distance of the falls.

Attractive to see
Apr 2021
Oh to be young and fit. We just walked to the viewing platform to look at this interesting part of the landscape and were deeply envious of the people crawling over the rock formations and splashing in the water.

great to experience nature
Apr 2021
Always visit here when in the area. The raw natural rocks and waterways are great and you have access to wander around (carefully) across the rocks and water. Can be dangerous when slippery. The viewing platform gives a nice view of the waterfall, and of course how good the falls are is dependent on the rains. Easy parking, short walk down top the rocks which are at he top of the falls.

good short walk
May 2021 • Solo
nice spot for a short walk. Easy access to parking. A good place to spot wild birds, we saw a few gang-gang cockatoos. You can walk closer around the rocks of the waterfall but be careful as there are no fences etc.

A lovely waterfall seen at one of the drier times
May 2021
We visited here as part of our two day trip along Reedy Creek.

Whilst the falls did not have a lot of water due to the dry Summer & lack of rainfall so far in Autumn, it still put on a lovely display regardless.

The long run at the top between the granite is quite deep & was structured to give even flow. The viewing platform gives the best view, with the long drop to the large pool at the bottom right in front of & underneath you.

This would be more spectacular after some decent rain, but still was worth looking at.

A good car park for a picnic & good toilets.

Great Wateffall And Well Presented Park
Apr 2021
Woolshed Waterfalls was a big surprise as it was a pretty water fall with water cascading over granite rocks down into a gorge and pool. The park was very well presented with two good viewing areas and all the amentities needed.Well done Parks Victoria.

Gorgeous spot, worth exploring
Apr 2021
Just a lovely spot. A refreshing lack of safety rails!... seriously though worth exploring. Only 4km between the falls and the Cascades near Beechworth. I don’t know how long it takes but imagine would be safer starting at the Falls end as the rocks can be slippery. Take you time and enjoy...
