Hi Michael and Linda Thanks for taking the time to review us. Some visitors only spare 15 minutes in the hope to understand the history of the Kelly Gang while others stay for 1 1/2hours. It is a complex story of those times and very...More

The Ned Kelly museum is a tired looking collection of old tools/equipment and curios from the time of Ned's life. Some of these items may have belonged to the Kelly family, however, it's poorly signed and the equipment in particular is not explained. There is...More

Ooooch!! Sorry that you thought that way. The homestead is a replica of the "ramshackle hut" as Ellen Kelly/Kings homestead was described in song and the Royal Commission after Ned Kelly was hanged. The replica is meant to depict the old homestead as it was...More

This was a great little place - all the souvenirs are so well priced. It's a bit of a shame the museum isn't dusted as much. The gentleman behind the counter super friendly and nice - highly recommend this place !!!!!!More

Thank you for your review Karen. Oh the dust!!! The working quarry in Glenrowan covers us in dust almost daily. Over Easter there were thousands of cars passing through and record numbers of people going through the museum. On top of that the weather was...More

Thanks for your review and great directions. Yes, the Ned Kelly museum and replica of the Kelly Homestead (ramshackle hut) is entered through the shop - Kate's Cottage. You step through the back of the shop...to the story of Ned Kelly. Entrance to the museum...More

I won't put in any spoilers here and I'll leave it to you if you like Australian History delivered in an artistic way. I'm not one who is accepting of the Kelly hero myth as he was no more than a cold blooded murderer but...More
