I am a local from Melbourne and had recommended to my family from overseas that we visit Healesville sanctuary. I remembered it as a child but haven't been for a long time. It was a waste of our time. We went during the week so...More

We didn’t pay for add-on of any encounters so there wasn’t any close up exchange with Australian animals. This place is so forgettable that there isn’t any special sighting to mention of.
nice zoo with plenty of Australia animals. would recommend seeing the animal hospital and the tree kangaroo was the highlight.
Get right next to the animals and walk around a beautiful native setting. Bird show is very good. Feeding parrots a highlight. Great for international visitors.
