Lots of Cafes have a wood fire burning in winter, lots of different Selections of food with a high standard. Great friendly service. The hotels are also good, different shops including antique places. Well worth a visit as there is a huge historical history To...More

Dubbed somewhere as the Gold Rush town that has had the least change, the buildings are authentic, dating back to 1835. Quaint old town

So nice to wander the main street of Maldon. One can almost hear and visualise the horses and carriages in the street. So many interesting and varied stroes to browse of just visit.

Walking in the centre of small town Maldon likes winding back the history. Old houses and buildings, art deco styles, old style veranda, names of the shops, the quietness and and the feeling of an old township floating in the air. It is a small...More

If you have ever wondered what Australia was like 150 years ago just take a leisurely stroll through this historic precinct. It is not at all difficult to picture yourself in the gold rush days
