Do yourself a favour and visit Rutherglen. The wines are to die for. Highly recommend Morris Wines, All Saints & all the others. Look for Tokay, Muscat, Port & even Reds & Whites.

Kids generally don't like traipsing around wineries, this provided a difference. Visited 5 wineries in 2 1/4 hours. Alister was a great host and at times pointed out activities for the kids. We all enjoyed the adventure!

Their topaque and pinot were simply marvelous. Other wineries are a bit too commercial, Pfeiffer's simple but they score highly.

We never ended up doing Rutherglen as I fell pregnant. But there is no bus tours just limo tours. That was another reason we changed our mind as we are also social people
