You need to drive up to the trail with the bikes because to ride up with kids would be nearly impossible. Try to get someone to drop you all off with the bikes because it's a pretty thrilling ride back down once you've done the stretch of trail. Beautiful ride, nice and flat and very pretty.

The trail is perched high above the Yarra Valley and follows the contours next to the O'Shannassy Aqueduct. After the recent rains and high winds there are many trees across the path which add to adventure but will slow you down if you are riding a bike.

We walked along this trail for about 30 mins in each direction from where we parked the car. Was very relaxing section we walked, flat and easy for those that are not fit. View were gorgeous.

This trail is 30k long from start (Don Valley) to finish (Warburton East). Over the course of the last few weeks, I have completed nearly the whole track in various sections (just haven't done the last 8km section in Warburton East). It's a beautiful trail - very quiet. I've only seen a handful of other people on it on each... More

We have been going to Warburton for over 20 years and only this year had we discovered this beautiful walking track!!! We visited this walk twice, once last summer and once in winter and I must say both were just as good, in winter it was snowing and looked amazing. We walked 6kms from the part near the old hospital.... More

A lot of people love this track for riding, but it's a great walk. Very interesting history and it's a looong walk. Nice and quiet away from roads so you can enjoy nature without the traffic whizzing by.

I love walking on a pace of 5 km/h or more. In that case it was too much to see that we could keep up this pace. Was there with a visitor from Germany and the birds and plants were very special for her. Even though the weather wasn't really good we enjoyed this walk and I can imagine doing... More

We decided to check out the O'Shannessy's water duct trail when visiting Warburton. It was 2kms long, but when the trail soon narrowed through people property, we wondered how any one could pass or was it a one way trail?

Pretty and easy walk through the national park. We saw Rosella's and heard Lyrebirds, Kookaburras and other birds. Tips to make your walk more memorable and enjoyable, make sure you go to the loo before you start your walk because we didn't see any public toilets. Take some water too.
