We joined some others to do the cooking lesson lads and ladies that lunch. Had a lot of fun doing the lesson but then had the results as lunch on the verandah after visiting the tasting room. We had a really good afternoon and whole weekend getting away from the rat race. The outdoor lunch area has a good view... More

Been 2x now, and what stood out each time was how relaxed and friendly the tasting was. Being Melburnians, we're used to the crowded madness of big Yarra Valley cellar doors. You don't get that in King Valley. Despite Pizzini being one of the bigger wineries in King Valley, the tasting was so relaxed, and felt 'homely'. On both occasions... More

The last winery to visit in our visit to Whitfield was yet again well worth coming to. As you drive in to the property to the cellar door at the rear, you see a wonderful building that has great country aesthetics about it. It is not as flashy as some winery cellar doors, but to me it had a wonderful... More

Last time we came here we were the only people at the cellar door, this time on the La Dolce Vita festival weekend, the place was bustling with people, so much so you had to jostle your way to the tasting bar. Activities abounded, and there was plenty of food...including the banoffee pie...the twist was the coffee mousse...interesting!!

Hi there Beaustravels, thanks for taking the time to review your visit to Pizzini. Yes the La Dolce Vita festival is a very busy time to visit - but lots of fun if you can handle the crowds! Our cellar door space is set up as a pop up restaurant and we love to welcome family groups. Each year on... More

WOW!!! What an amazing encounter we had. Great winery that includes tasting, cooking classes and the owner is so down to earth and willing to spend his time with you. Wines were amazing (especially the Brachetto) and walked away with many new wines to try. Best part, if we can't get back, they'll post! Cannot recommend highly enough, definitely the... More

We went here to buy Landa Prosecco after tasting it in the Whitfield Hotel. It became pretty clear that we weren't worth spending time on. Very odd as there was only one couple with a young child in the tasteing room. I told the bar attendant what I was interested in, he half heartedly poured a glass for me, not... More

We visited at during Easter, there was a family fun day on Easter Sunday that was FANTASTIC! The choice of food was superb. Previously when we had visited there was a shortage of staff, and long wait times. Not this time. Each station was well staffed, the children's activities were great, and allowed the adults to sit back and enjoy... More
