We have watched everything from shows to concerts to worship nights here and every time the venue is amazing and the event is spectacular. One criticism I would offer is that we attended a General Admission only seating event in late 2016 that was a worship night concert. After arriving early and getting in the front of the line, the... Loved the atmosphere, the music, and the people of the United States. Friendly, kind, offering a piece of a hay bale to sit on while waiting to get through the door. Fantastic!!!!

We did not get to go the the Grand Ole Opry building, because of the flood in Nashville. We saw a show at the Reiman Auditorium. This was a nice venue, and the backstage tour was fun. However, the music was not country music in my opinion. It was more like pop rock and very loud. We spend the second... More

I lived in Nashville for over 20 years before I finally went to the Grand 'Ol Opry and I must say I was charmed. It has the feel of an old time radio broadcast and every 15 min. a new act that comes on. It's hosted usually by an older member of the Opry and the older stars are in... More

The Grand Ole Opry is known as one of the must-see attractions of Tennessee. I am sure you will find nicer theaters, larger musical arenas, and better acoustics elsewhere, but come for the history and who has performed here before. In 1925, the radio was new and radio advertising was revolutionary. Radio statation WSM was started by an insurance company... More

If you come to Nashville and don't visit the Grand Ole Opry, you haven't done it all. If a tour is fun for you. this is the best tour in Nashville. So much history you will have to take notes.

The grand Ole Opry is a big reason Nashville is Nashville today! The diversified city received it's worldwide fame from country music. The Grand Ole Opry is the reason Nashville is Music City USA. The longest running radio show in the nation provides the attendee an exhilaration by just being in the crowd. To watch how the show works and... More

We arrived right at 10:00am when they opened. No problem getting a ticket but this WAS in January. Still quite a lot of tourist activity. The price was very good and the tour was great! We stood in the 'circle' and had our picture taken. Such an interesting time and the guide was wonderful.
