"The Bluebird Cafe is one of the world's preeminent listening rooms and has gained worldwide recognition as a songwriter's performance space where the "heroes behind the hits" perform their own songs; songs that have been recorded by chart-topping artists in all genres of music. Located in a small strip mall outside of downtown Nashville, the tiny 85 seat venue is unassuming in appearance but some of the most significant songwriters and artists have performed on this stage.

This was my favorite night in Nashville. The songwriters/singers were incredible and a lot of fun. We got there about 4:20 since we didn't have reservations and weren't let in until about 6:20. It was worth the wait. They let in about 30 people in...More

My wife and I were fortunate to get tickets and see some unbelievable musicians at Bluebird Cafe! It's run very professional and we so enjoyed the music and artists! Has average bar food to pick on. This is a great show and highly recommend!!! Get...More

You have the Honky Tonk bars downtown, legends at The Grand Ole Opry and songwriters at The Bluebird. A 31/2 hour wait but worth every minute. A bit of a Father's Day theme set the mood and the talent stretched and strained. Complete the picture...More

This is a really quaint cafe definitely off of the beaten path. Popular place for songwriters long before the show Nashville, but made popular BECAUSE of the show Nashville. It is really really small and only so many people are allowed in because the songwriters...More

This was a must stop for my wife being a huge fan of the show. I'm a big fan of good blues music so this place ticked all the boxes. We were lucky that it was the same night as a big Predator playoff so...More

What a great place, we didn't have reservations or tickets, came about 10 minutes into the show, so fortunate there were 2 seats left at the bar. We heard great wonderful music from singer songwriters with such talent. This is what Nashville should be. Make...More

Waited in line for 75 minutes for the doors to open at 5 since we did not have reservations. The wait was worth it, great music, food and atmosphere.

You're taking a chance if you arrive without a reservation. I was one of the lucky 20. No charge to get in, just a small food/drink minimum ($10). Good music. Good food. Make sure you order something that comes with their yummy homemade potato chips.

We were told to arrive at least an hour and a half before the doors opened ( we were there on Sunday night before they started taking reservation). It was cool and raining and the crowd waited patiently. The doorman would come out from time...More

Although securing tickets ahead of time is very challenging; if you arrive 1.5 hours before the performance you are likely to get a seat (provided, however, that there are no more than 15 folks ahead of you in line.......'cause then you arrived too late). The...More

How do the benefit show prices work. When do you know how much you have to pay? We have reservations for May 4th but don't know how much money we need to bring!

Tickets are usually released one week in advance for online booking, I think. Sunday and Monday are unticketed (think this is changing) and it's first come first in. We queued 2 hours on a Sunday before doors opened and got... More

As far as I recall, there would be a few options for someone on a gluten free diet. The sweet potato fries are excellent!
