This is the most wonderful place to hike in Nashville. A true gem nestled right inbetween Green Hills and Brentwood. Lake Trail and South Cove Trail are my favorite. Parking is easiest on the Granny White side of the park.

This park is a great place to go on a nice leisure walk. It has both paved and rugged trails. The paved path goes half way around the lake and the rest is trail. The trails specify no running and no strollers. Lots of bird watchers and great areas to take photos.

Various levels of hiking available with a nice nature center. Can walk on asphalt street or climb wooded hill trails of various lengths. None too difficult or very long, maybe 1Hr max.

Lovely state Park, lots of people quietly enjoying their day. Plenty of birds for photography or bird watching. It's a good way to spend a few hrs.

Very cool and scenic state park. Cool ability to hike through the woods. There are a lot of areas to have picnics if you pack a lunch. Different paths to take throughout. Nice big lake!

This park does not feel like it is right in the middle of Nashville. We spent a morning hiking with our kids (ages 3-11). We saw more wildlife here than we have ever seen at state parks, etc, and we hike a lot! Turkeys, deer, turtles, birds, snakes, etc. Lovely park!

The park was clean and provided different trail levels, all with beautiful views of the lake! Coming from Florida, we don't see the leaves change colors so we went in the best time possible!

View the homes (mansions) in Old Hickory area. These are estates.....gates to get on the property, 2 homes joined together as a massive mansion. Getting back to Radnor Lake. Lots to see and good for hiking.

In the fall it is only fitting that you would want to be out in Nature. Unfortunately, we happened to hit this park when here was a special event going on making it impossible to find parking anywhere. Make sure that this doesn't happen to you because it is very difficult to turn around as the road is narrow with... More
