We just happened onto this place and did we have a good time. They had a one man band that just happened to play all our old time favorites. Great entertainment, great food, friendly atmosphere, nice staff, what's not to like. Also the prices were more than fair.

Happened to drop in at 11 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 7, 2017) to listen to solo artist John England (of Western Swingers) and he kept us enthralled throughout his three-hour gig. He also had some talented guests doing guest spots, among them Tom Barkoukis doing a solo guitar stint; singer Kevin Martin (of The Cowpokes) singing a couple songs, most memorably... More

It was fun. There were good bands in both rooms, the bar as well as the dance floor. 10 pieces in the band in the dance room. Eric Heatherly is a very good singer. We had a wonderful burger and fries. I have been there several times - they always have good bands. Chris Scruggs was in the band one... More

Jesse Lee Jones is single-handedly bringing country dancing back to Nashville! Thursday night Urban Cowboy Experience featuring Eric Heatherly was so much fun! Free two step dance lessons and mechanical bull rides. Grand Ole After Party on Friday nights features a 10 piece dance band and free dance lessons. They have improved the dance floor this month and it is... More

I'm a Nashville local and visit the Palace at least once a week for a chicken sandwich or burger. Great, affordable food. They just changed ownership and improved an already good menu. There's been entertainment every visit from some top-notch performers, usually good old country music. Staff is friendly and attentive, plenty of parking, easily accessible right off of Briley... The Nashville Palace is a legend. Randy Travis and Alan Jackson played there before they were famous, and many other country music stars have performed there. The music is top notch-traditional country music, not the pop-oriented stuff played on the radio today. The place is a little touristy, which is okay, because I was a tourist when I went there.... Had dinner and a few drinks. The 1/2 grilled chicken was good, service was okay. The live music was good old country in the front bar. We sat outside and enjoyed the experience.

This classic honky tonk near Opryland offers a great alternative to Broadway and the party crowds on Friday and Saturday nights. Parking is easy and seating plentiful. Drinks are less expensive than downtown and food is available in two different rooms. Owned by the same peeps as Roberts Western World they are true to classic country music and the performers... Staying around this area because that is where the grand ole Opry is normally and looking to have a drink. Loved it, firstly no smoking which was heaven as went to the other bars first and left quickly when I realised I would be sitting in a cloud of smoke. The bar has great seating with 2 levels and free... More

We have lived in middle Tn our whole lives but this was the first time we went to The Nashville Palace. We had so much fun. The band was wonderful, the service great and best of all they don't allow smoking! We danced, drank and listened to some good country music.....isn't this what Nashville is known for? Trust me....avoid the... More
