Spent the last night of our vacation in Nashville strolling around the farmer's market, perusing the goods and enjoying some great food. Despite the oppressive heat and humidity (it's July in Nashville, after all), it was a very well attended event with lots of very...More

Having been to fabulous farmer's markets and open air markets in several cities, I had high hopes for the NFM. While there are some cool vendors, I found this underwhelming for browsing.

The Farmer's Market area only had a few stands open, probably due to it being a weekday. Multiple options for lunch in the good court. Definitely take time to visit the garden area and the Tennessee timeline wall.

I so wish I lived near here because I would go regularly for their fresh produce. There were other vendors as well and my friend and I both bought a t-shirt designed by a local modern artist. All the vendors were super friendly and there...More

I thought this would be a big, vendor -filled market because it's in Nashville. I went on a Sunday morning, there were maybe 10-15 vendors set up. The garden nursery was nice. The vegetables looked great, there were a few craft vendors with interesting stuff...More

So many awesome farmers with great produce. Definitely the place to go if you were looking for food to take home. But you cannot leave without eating something from the food court. That's a bad name for it because usually food courts are filled with...More

we walked through here and it was amazing. Trolley stop and there are lots of foods you can sample to eat there or buy to take home as well if you live there or have means to prepare and eat.

We came here two days in a row via the Grey line hop on/hop off bus. It can be tricky to eat healthy on vacation but this place is fascinating! Rent a bike, find the massive globe on water, explore the amphitheater. Fun way to...More

Maybe on weekends it's a farmers market but during the week it's just a conglomeration of food stalls. That said, we had some very good shrimp gumbo and some delicious ice cream.

Honestly, not much of a farmers market. It is one of the trolley stops so we got off to check it out. There were no farmers there, even the guide on the trolley said there have not been farmers there in years. The indoor portion...More

Yes, but when we there half the lot was closed due to utility work. It is hard to find a spot. There is a free gravel lot about a third of a mile south and around a corner and across some railroad tracks. It's kind of behind... More

Most is covered and a great food court inside. I think it would be a great rainy day activity. I'm assuming the vendors would still show up.
