A beautiful setting near downtown Boerne, the River Road Park is a pleasant way to enjoy all the great classic elements of the Hill Country: wildlife (fish, turtles, ducks) and nature (soothing river, large oak trees). The concrete pathway makes it easy for nice walks,...More

This is a regular route when I jog or walk. Attractive surroundings with winding sidewalk along Cibolo Creek flanked by ducks. Very nice to have a bathroom there, too. There are many pretty spots for a picnic.

We had eaten at a restaurant across the street, and decided to see what was in the park. There was a sign that described the history of Boerne and various River Heritage Tour sites, plus a LOT of ducks, but little else. Perhaps it would...More

As soon as our grandkids get into town to visit, they always want to go to the park to feed the ducks. We take a loaf of bread and have a great time.
