We spent the weekend at the hotel although the hotel is outdated and carpets stink. We weren't inside nearly enough to care. We went on nature walks and bath in the spring pools. Definetly a sweet spot. The rooms could do a remodel and it would have been. A destination. Other than that can't complain. Played golf, went to the... More

We made reservations for the RV park here. It is awful!!!! The whole place is rundown. Broken glass windows out of the old fort buildings. The RV park is way in the back and it was horrible! I cannot believe they would want to rent this place out to anyone. There were mostly full timers. One had a refrigerator outside... More

My husband and I stayed at the fort in humble motel accommodations. The springs on the grounds were such a welcome respite from the Texas heat. Well maintained and laid back surroundings had huge oaks to set up chairs, etc. We will return, for sure.

What a gorgeous natural pool, we can't wait to go back! It was cold and clean and just wonderful. A gem in south Texas!

Very historical place with tons of knowledgeable people to tell people about the Fort from the very beginning. A lot of the building are still in use today from when John Wayne filmed The Alamo.

We went to Fort Clark for "Fort Clark Days" when many people try to recreate how Fort Clark looked during the 1800s. Many people in costume tried to show and tell what life was like at the Fort. You can ride in an open wagon while a tour guide shows you the entire fort. The most fascinating part to us... More

Nice RV park - very quiet, friendly host. Site is nice & flat (no leveling required). Restrooms/showers are old but clean. The fort itself is an interesting visit with lots of history. Did not try the on-site restaurant this time; was a disappointment on previous trip.

Review of Pool only. The Fort Clark Springs Pool- alone - is enough to just justify a stopover or to spend a night. (the museum was closed) CRYSTAL CLEAR natural spring water - no chlorine - concrete bottom & sides 8 feet deep safety rail all around. No diving board. Jump or dive in for a true shocking good sensation.... More
