A nice layout

Not a long course but a nice layout. Greens were a little slow but it is Feb. Definitely need to look at course layout so you do play the right shots off the tee.

The course and facility are very nice. The greens are smooth and in great shape. You do have to wait for a white-tail doe and her dawn to cross the fairway. My only complaint was the course start moved my husband and I up in line to right behind a foursome of which one was a very slow, elderly man.... More

My husband and friends love this course and travel from Austin to play here. It is especially green and beautiful after the recent rains. I want you to know about the food concession as well, though. The group of six who came over today said the food is pretty much the best of all the courses they play, and they... More

it was a nice golf course, very peaceful but they really need to mow away more of the wooded areas where there are snakes. Lots of deer and beautiful plants. Need to clean out the rivers so they are nice. The grounds are well kept and they have a variety of drinks but no one to bring them to you... More

we played a foursome here over July 4th wknd and WOW, what a surprise! This is a muni course in VERY GOOD shape. The greens are extremely fast with some interesting undulations. The deer were rampant everywhere too. The starters were extremely unfriendly and wanted too much info for our cart drivers....."due to damages in past". They were even rude... More

A bit of a drive from Autin, but worth it. Great deals can be had through GolfNow. Last went with my 13 year old son. Par 5s are reachable, but can be challenging. Not much water on the course, but plenty of trees. A few holes where you need to know the course and not take driver (if a big... More

This is one of my favorite golf course to play in the central Texas region. All the holes are challenging and fun to play and are always in good shape. The starters do such a great job starting everybody off on their rounds that you never feel rushed or pushed. The personnel working the pro shop and cafeteria are very... More

Played with a group of 10 friends, various skill level players. This is a course that can be enjoyed by 5 handicaps or 25 handicaps. It's unbelievable what the city of Burnet has done for such a modest cost to the players. Greens & fairways are in excellent condition, nice cart paths. The design is excellent, we finished the round... More

We played this highland lakes municipal course on a mid week afternoon. The weather was warm and windy with scattered clouds. I met, Bear, at the pro shop and he has a very cordial demeanor. This is a well run and well conditioned golf course. The greens here are about the best I've seen at this time of the year.... More
