Dinosaur Heaven!

Our 6 year old grandson loved this place, as did we! Life sized dinosaurs and well done information plaques on the nature trail. Also, fun "eye spy" stones to search for and then find hidden objects of interest. Well worth the $7 admission. We were here about 2 hours. Nice playground and picnic area. Lots of cute dino toys and... More

An ambitious interpretation of what scientists think dinosaurs looked like, this spot is a thrill for kids under 12, maybe some teens, and pretty interesting for adults. Static models, no movement, no sound. Some look sorta amateurishly done, most are pretty believable. About 30 or 40 fiberglass/plastic dinosaurs "life size", in woodland setting, along easy to walk trails. No hills.... More

This is a great place to spend a half day. LOTS of fun dinosaurs to learn about, including an eye-spy game to play as you walk the trail. The park area at the end is just as fun, with a playscape, a fossil digging area, and picnic tables. Pack a lunch and plan to spend a few hours here. Well... More

We visited Dinosaur Park with our 3 children (11, 8, 5) while camping at nearby Buescher State Park. I had told my oldest about it ahead of time because I was afraid that it would be geared towards younger children and she'd be bored, but she liked it as much as they did. There is 3 different things to do:... More

We stopped here on the way to Lake LBJ with our 2-year-old and 4.5-year-old. I was a little nervous that they wouldn't like it or be scared, but they LOVED it!!! They would run down the trail until they saw a dinosaur and then get SO excited about the new Dino. The Park also offers an iSpy game. The points... More

We went here for my daughter's 1st grade field trip and it was pretty fun. It's geared more to younger kids so they thought it was interesting. They have a walking tour/scavenger hunt to see all the dinosaurs and also a playground picnic area which was nice. And of course you can't leave without something from the gift shop!

I recently went with my three children ages 6, 4 and 2. The six-year-old loved doing the scavenger hunt and playing "I spy" for the things hidden in the woods (some were hard!), my four-year-old son couldn't get enough of new dino facts and my two-year-old was happy to tag along. It's a nice little nature trail that is probably... More

My kids & I love it here. We visit probably once a year. My son loves dinosaurs. Coming here is a treat for him every single time.

Even though people have mentioned in their reviews that it is geared more towards children, I did enjoy that as an adult visiting without children. Museums offer skeletal remains and movies show them only the size of your tv so it was refreshing to get a perspective on how big they actually were with the likeness of something other than... Our grandsons, 5 and 3, loved this park. We, parents and grandparents, also loved it. The hike was not too hard, not too long, not too short. The "scavenger hunt" was great for the 5 year old and the 3 year old was able to locate all the numbered dinosaur footprints by himself, so he was happy, too. We brought... More
