I'm not an archaeologist, a geologist, or even an artist, but this trek/tour is certainly worth doing! If you're in the area, the White Shaman tour is not to be missed. The tour departs every Sat at 12:30pm at the White Shaman preserve gate (a little west of Seminole Canyon SP) on Hwy 90. Happened to be in the vicinity at the right time for this tour. Nice walk down to the shelter with friendly guide with just right amount of information. The paintings are awesome.

We did this hike with two archaeologists from the Shumla School and a small group of people.
