We really liked the hike in this Park. Walked for about 2 hours and met only a few people. But you should bring same moskito repellent.

So peaceful, and well maintained. Efforts to keep this forest pristine are ongoing. Friends live there, thousands drive through on FM 1488 every day, and it's a blessing to be able to see it regularly.

Right in The Woodlands backdoor is this peaceful State Park... Often overlooked by all who live here but a great area to visit and bring friends and family

It's a park! So enjoy it! We walk the dog there, it's a big area with woodpecker bird. Calm place to walk and enjoy nature.

I live on WG Jones State Park and ride my bike/hike weekly through the park. It's very peaceful and tranquil.
