The Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance offers a core exhibit that exposes three key events that occurred on "One Day During the Holocaust". A special travelling exhibit, video graphed eyewitness testimonies of survivors, and artifacts offer visitors a well-rounded understanding of this horrific part of world history. Visitors leave the Museum with answers to the question, how could this happen?

Due to the somber topic and graphic historical photographs in the exhibits, the Museum is not recommended for children under the age of 10.

However, parents should note that this Museum hosts more than 30,000 school children each year. The audio guided tour teaches the differences between bystander and Upstander behavior and the value of choices.

The story is indeed sad, but the learning is even greater. Visiting this place really impacted my life. I learned so much and was able to listen and talk to one of the survivors of the holocaust, that was very impactful to be there with her, listening to how she was able to be saved from being killed by nazis.

Thank you for your review of the Dallas Holocaust Museum. I shared your review with my staff mates. It makes us happy when visitors understand that despite our size we have a lot to offer. It is history that should be moving us forward so that someday we can say, ”Never Again,” and man’s inhumanity to man will cease. Paula... More

It is almost unbelievable that the holocaust ever happened, but it did. We must remember, lest it happen again.

My mother and I went together on a Saturday and it was lovely. Of course, somber but well done. Worth the money and the history lesson.

This was a small but well put together museum. Very powerful stories about local folks who were subjects of the Holocaust. They are making a larger one as there were plenty of visitors. Vistors self guide with hand held microphones. Again well worth the trip.

The overall tone of this museum is respectful and somber, which can really move someone visiting. I found myself crying towards the end of the exhibit, looking at all of the items left behind from victims of the holocaust. There's lots of information to read and it really is a wonderful museum.

Its a well put together timeline of the events that happened. If you follow the time line and listen to the audio you will gain first hand knowledge of the events that took place. At the end sit in the room and watch the videos of all the survivors story's. I would go again

Even though the museum is very small has tons of facts, pictures and artifacts from the Holocaust. It can been seen in 2 hours tops. Very well presented and with the entrance you get and audio guide ( Spanish also available). The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This tour is self paced and must use an audio device. I have visited the Holocaust museum in DC and completely understand not all will be as good as theirs pertaining to exhibits, personal items, or larger items but this really fell short.
