My husband and I spent a night in our new camper out at Eisenhower State Park. We were in the Armadillo Hill part of the campgrounds. The sites are decently-sized where you aren't right on top of the site next to you. Bathrooms and dumpsters are conveniently located. Dogs are allowed (important to us as we like to travel with... We tent camped at Elm Point. Our campsite had a beautiful view of the lake; however, it can get windy out there on that peninsula. The hiking trail is nice - nicer in the spring/summer than in winter. Looks like it would be very challenging for mountain biking and it's not very long for a MTB trail, so I don't... More

Enjoyed the views of Lake Texoma during the time of year you can see through the trees to all shorelines. Delightful tour of the beauty of Texas.

We visited this weekend. the rangers are very nice. The park is quiet. Some campsites are very small. Some are very large. They sell firewood for 50 cents a piece. nice hiking trails. There is a brochure that matches markers along the trail showing different types of trees. We arrived late. No gate, so we just had to show up... More

being from Dallas this was a small road trip to get out of the city and enjoy trails outside of Texas. We started early in the morning to beat the Texas sun. The park beautiful scenic points of interest. We did some fishing at the beautiful Ammonite Scenic point and ate out lunch while resting on one of the rocks.... More

Working at the park as part of an exercise. Really nice park with lots of boat ramps and hiking trails.

We camped in Bois D'Arc and several drive thru sites were very unlevel. We didn't have a lake view. The swimming area was hard to get down to & even harder hiking back up. The park was clean.

This part of the country doesn't have a lot of hiking or walking trails. As such, any decent trail is a godsend. The views of the lake shore are pretty interesting. I padded my mileage by walking on some of the roadways, which had few cars.

We love it here at Eisenhower State Park! Anytime of the year is a great time to visit. Lake Texhoma boarders the park for those who like to fish, swim, or enjoy water activities. If you like biking or hiking, there's plenty of trails, or roads inside the park. Some trails are easier than others, but some are challenging enough... More

We have been going to Eisenhower for years. We love camping there and boating. The lake is so beautiful but there is no lake view if you require full hook ups. As much as I hate that, it is still worth it. The park is well maintained, has showers, and a boat ramp. Highly recommend
