Nestled in the foyer of the Central Fire Station (sort of) is a very nice collection of historic firefighting items, some are very interesting. The assorted fire nozzle display is neat. The museum also serves as a memorial for the local fire department. There is...More

We found out this place is not open on Saturday or Sunday. The firefighters on shift were out with their bay doors opened and welcomed us and our girls to see the rigs. Very welcoming and kind group of guys here.

Very well thought out museum with lots of fireman suits through the ages. Also some great old pictures of the old Denton Fire Station from the 1890s. They also have a good selection of fire truck toys for children to see.

With a piece of the WTC as a memorial to the 411, it is a quick tear-jerker, but they have amazing historic extinguishers, suits, gear, and more! The firefighters are ready to give a tour of the department if you ask nicely.

A look at some of the equipment used in the past and pictures of various trucks and fires in Denton. This is in a Real fire station so a look at the current trucks is also a possibility if they're not making calls.

Our kids had such a great time and the firefighters were super nice! This was a great way for our young children to learn about the job of a firefighter.
