This zoo was amazing. My 6 year old had so much fun. The zoo is huge and the prices were good as well. We are totally going back.

Plan to spend time with younger children in the Texas play area and bring a few quarters for the stagecoach ride inside. Take slip on and off shoes.

Seeing the animals was always until 8. The meerkats are especially fun. Lots of different kinds of displays, with a good selection of animals.

We are so lucky to have this world-class zoo in our town. It is so well laid-out, maintained, and presented. My favorite stop is always the primates area (inside and outside), but the lions are a close second, especially when there are new lion cubs!
