We were looking for places to hike around Ft. Worth so we decided to try this park. Although this park is overall an easy drive to get to, we were disappointed in the overall layout. We have done this trail several times with are kids, age 7 and 5. In some areas the rocks are loose and you can lose your footing,but all the times we have gone we all managed to not get hurt and we have a really good time. Once you've made it down you get an awesome view of the Lake... More

It's very pretty but you really need to be in shape for this one. It's way down hill with lots of loose rocks to slip/trip on and remember, you have to come back up.

Fort Worth Mountain Biking Association created this trail as a means for mountain bikers to ride, but it’s also easily accessible for hikers, mountain bikers, and backpackers alike.
