Went there for a break from all the stress. I just had to get away, even foe a little while. Coming to the W gardens was out of the way but a good idea.

As a native of West Texas, I'm accustomed to not seeing much water in my home territory. But in the heart of downtown Fort Worth an entire block is filled with dynamic water sculptures. PIctures don't do it justice - you've gotta go see it.

There's about 3-4 different water gardens around the gardens. There's one that has steps you can go down to. I, personally, was too scared to walk all the way down with my fear of heights, but it was so beautiful to look at. My husband...More

This place is awesome for pictures and it's very unique. Be very, very careful with young kids though. You do not want to let go of their little hands. You can get wet in the areas where it is allowed, but there is one area...More

Watch it before you visit the FW Water Gardens on the South end of downtown. It's a great place for a datenight stroll or a place to let the kids run rampant... something for everyone. There's green space and tons upon tons of concrete... the...More

We stayed in a motel not far away from. Here. Nice area, not too crowded. Beautiful scenery. Was hot but had a few nice shaded areas. Were workers there cleaning.

This is a nice, peaceful, relaxing spot on the edge of downtown Fort Worth. While it was just us as a couple, we saw lots of families with kids enjoying the area. Also, nice spot to cool down a little in the heat of the...More

Nothing impressive, having inconvenient parking or having to walk a good distance when you have health issues is a nightmare but it is beautiful at night, just a little small.

This place is awesome for kids unless they have any issues with vertigo. The final pool might be a little scary as there are no handrails. Phillip Johnson was the brilliant architect. It's a real oasis in the middle of the... More

Street parking is usually plentiful on the weekend in FW but the Omni Hotel across the street has a garage. The Hilton two blocks.away has valet parking.
