If you are an airline geek like I am this is an excellent museum. It's not your typical aviation museum where you will see old planes. Instead, this is an interactive museum that explains how a major airline operates.

Such a great museum! Plan to stay over 2 hours. The gift shop was real neat, ended up getting retro travel packs from 9 original airlines.

The museum is only minutes from the DFW airport, so a cab can certainly get you there. I don't know of any bus routes that go by there. Any cab company should be able to give an approximate cost by phone. Avoid the peak... More
