Fascinating . Didn't understand the history of German emigration to Texas. Staff was great. Coming from the east coast, learning about boats of Germans into Galveston was interesting

Does a good overview of mid 1800s life in Fredericksburg using furnished houses, cabins and barns. Each has a recorded voice of one of the family.

Visiting an original settlement of the German people. Fascinating history. The docent was very knowledgeable, and even called us later in the day to answer a question she had to research.
