We spent most of one day in the museum. It's the best. Very well done and so much to see. We were very pleasantly surprised.

Very Cool Museum. Funny, Hundreds of miles from any Ocean. Nimitz was born and raised here. He made the advancement to Admiral of the whole entire Pacific Navy Fleet of WWII. So naturally he was born here, all his accomplishments are shown here.... Also here...More

I'm a navy junior with relatives who served under Admiral Nimitz, so I really enjoyed this museum - I didn't know he had been born in such a small town and almost applied to West Point!

I enjoyed visiting this place but don't get your expectations up. Certainly if you are a Nimitz fan, it is worth visiting along with the Pacific War Museum. This site is worth a walk through and it is interesting, but not a must see.

You do not hear a lot about Admiral Nimitz but after you visit this site and the Museum of the Pacific you gain great insight into a true hero of WWll.

This was a very interesting and fun environment for my children and my young son learned quite a few intriguing things about a time frame of his great grandfather and what it meant for his military service and understood it better. Thank you.

Great place for anyone to visit and brouse around for a short visit but great place for any history buff to spend hours. Excellent set up and sources of history.

An interesting museum that sets up the main event -- the Pacific War Museum by providing a good overview of Admiral Nimitz's life.
