My wife and I visited Four Point Cellars on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. It was a scenic spot with a awesome tasting room. We were greeted by Dotty, who was a very friendly and knowledgeable wine host. We enjoyed the many different wines to choose from. When we finished the tasting, we purchased a block of aged cheddar and sipped... More

The wines are good and they have samples of jellies, cheeses and such. It's not a really big place and can get crowed. It's a good place to stop and visit, but after about 20 minutes I was ready to leave.

This was our third winery stop of the afternoon. We were ready for some cheese and crackers, and there was a good variety to choose from. There were wines representing several wineries, which was different from the others we visited. We enjoyed bantering with our server, who was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. Overall, a great... More

Our car club has a yearly rally from the Hangar Inn in Fredercksburg to the surrounding area with meals each night. The final dinner is Saturday evening and for two years in a row we've enjoyed 4.0 Cellars for our meal and entertainment. They are friendly and provide a top notch atmosphere. Along with a great caterer, a very enjoyable... More

On Saturday afternoon, this tasting room was really busy and NOISY. Many people were also seated outdoors on a patio & under a covered area. So happy our group of 5 reserved the Cheese (raw milk cheeses!) & Wine experience with Carl. We were seated in a beautiful private room that kept us out of the bustling main room. Of... More

Great wines and lots of variety! Nice facility and great area to relax and enjoy the wine outside. Very helpful in packing our wine to get it home on the airplane!

This business is a distribution point for several wineries. It was very busy the day we were there and the server really seemed to be rushing us through our tasting. The wine was just okay. Out of four tours that day, this was definitely our least favorite.

Very nice place. Great atmosphere. Very busy. We rented the board room. Loved it with one exception.... they gave us the three options for us to each pick a glass of wine. The descriptions are not very telling for some. They didn't go over anything about the wines. Asking about them we got .. the green has 3 dry whites... More

We visited this weekend for the Mardi Gras festival. It was completely free. We were stopping and visiting several local Hill Country wineries, and it sounded like fun. It was very busy when we got there, and I was so impressed that the staff was quickly putting up extra tables for guests. There was cajun food available for purchase, but... More

We arrived and it was hopping. We were on a wait list to taste. Price was a god deal $12 for six tastings. One was a bottle for $50! The staff was friendly and wine very good.
