I had been to Moody Gardens for a training class a few years previously and was eager to show it to my family. Rainforest pyramid was beautiful. We were hoping the paddle boat ride was going to be narrated but it wasn't.

Lots of educational opportunities for the kids. A little costly but ultimately worth it. The rain forest was great with lots of animals, flowers, plants, etc. Very engaging for kids

Phone to front desk never got picked up. Good place to have a large meeting. Would like to have had water on the coffee table for coffee breaks. Had to ask wait staff to bring water. No water fountains anywhere to be found. Parking garage was nice, secure and handy.

All the flowers, birds and butterflies were amazing! I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in flora & fauna. The lady at the gift shop was very helpful about places to eat also. We liked the Africa film, but not the Sponge Bob or the Ice age ones. Too violent!

Just were there in March. Aquarium was shut for repairs. Rain forest was cool and enjoyable. Discovery area was interesting but small. SpongeBob was a highlight. 3D underwater show was interesting. 4D was short short short. Did not pay extra to do ropes course. OVERALL, even with 5$ off, 54 a person was WAYYY too much for what little there... More

We were very disappointed to arrive at Moody Gardens and find most of the attractions closed. We walked around the outside to see the foliage and then left. This is not a winter attraction. In the summer, I'm sure more things would be open, but then the traffic, parking and endless people might make this a tough place to be.... More

I dont really feel like the pricing matches up to what you get to see. The idea of the pyramids and how everything is laid out in the rainforest pyramid is awesome, but I am not a huge fan of the aquarium. Hopefully their renovations will make me change my mind!

Lots to keep the kids busy. The 4D animation with dinosaurs may scare the little ones. The IMAX is great! The aquarium is closed now so call and check before you go.
