We had lunch at Gaido's (which is a must do as well) and took a leisurely stroll along the beach. Parking is a breeze with the parking app and the weather was perfect for a lazy walk. Very nice wide beach with shells and seagulls...More

Our hotel is not far from the seawall. It's a beach along the seawall boulevard and a nice place for a walk or just sitting there for the sunset. There's so many restaurants on the other side of the street.

Lots of stairs, warnings for current conditions, and very clean. Plenty of parking available makes it easy to make a quick stop.

Yes it is a good beach for families. With a very gradual decline, most of the time the water is shallow a good distance from the beach. Yes you can bring your own umbrellas and chairs.

If you can see the lights of the pleasure pier you should have a pretty good view of the fireworks too
